Nest Battery Doorbell - No power no internet

I purchased the nest battery doorbell, and it was working fine. I got an alert saying the camera was offline and the battery was low. I connected the doorbell to get charged, and when it got to 95% I tried installing it, and now the doorbell does not light up. 

 

I've factory reset it and tried, and still, the doorbell does not light up unless it's plugged in.

Maybe you have a defective battery doorbell and should contact Google Nest Support for a replacement:
