Nest Cam IQ Outdoor - No Power

I have had a Nest IQ Outddor cam connected to my Google Home app for some time. It was able to install, connect and stream just fine....then I noticed it went offline just to discover it was not just offline but dead (as in no power)

I have switched the power cable to it as well as plugged in my phone to the connection and can verify that there IS power in the cable. Power from the plug to the cam is okay

When I plug in the cam there are no lights that come on, none. I have used a small paper clip to try to rest it in the front of the cam and nothing....there is no power

Any suggestions on what I can do to get this cam back jumpstarted and working?

(I am using the Google Home app on my Andoird to try to connect the cam)

Just found out that my Nest IQ cam is 3 months out of warranty so Google cannot help in any way with a replacement. A real bummer considering the cost of this cam. The issue is clearly a power issue with the camera as I did some troubleshooting with the Support person and all fingers pointed at a deficient camera/power issue on the cam. NEVER great news to get

Does anyone have any other solutions?

I really dislike the new magnet-connected cams....
