Nest Cam IQ Outdoor Zoom in Google Home App

I transferred my nest cam outdoor IQ app and I see the zoom in on people is not available anymore, this is the main reason why I got this?

Is this going to be added or fixed or am I gonna have to sell these nest cameras because I'm losing feature I use in this migration left and right.

Google Nest still lists "Zoom and Enhance" as one of the Nest app features NOT available in the Google Home app (see below).  It's one of many reasons we have NOT "transferred" any of our 1st gen cameras and doorbells to the Google Home app.

so how long is the Nest app getting supported? if I keep the outdoor camera on the nest app, I assume if this feature is only for the Nest app, that they app will be supported forever right?

I'm just another Google Nest customer, and so I have no idea how long the Nest app will be supported, and Google Nest does NOT publish a roadmap of its future plans.

The article you cited says:

"Note: Enhance is only available for cameras and doorbells set up in the Nest app.

Enhance keeps your camera zoomed in all the time, even when you’re not watching video."

THAT is the Nest app feature that is missing in the Google Home app, and that is why Google Nest lists "Zoom & Enhance" as one of the missing features here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13038234#zippy=%2Cnest-app-only-features

Will enhance zoom be coming to the Nest Outdoor Camera IQ?

The zoom in feature that happens when it spots someone is the reason why I bought the IQ. It's in the name and was a selling feature when I purchased it.

If this is a nest app feature only, how long is this app gonna be supported? I thought the Nest app was being phased out?

As you know this is a new feature to migrate cameras 1St Gen to Google Home App therefore we don’t make features available to the Preview Program until we believe they are ready to release to all users. That's why you cannot use these features on Google Home App.
