My question is after losing support of my DropCam earlier this year I am in the market for a few new cameras. However I have 3 Nest Cam IQ Outdoor 1st Gen Cameras that only work with Nest Aware in the nest app for tracking motion or sound items. It is my understanding that will eventually go away. My Doorbell was allowed to be transferred to the Google Home app for aware tracking but those 3 cameras are not. Will these older Nest IQ cameras be dropped like the DropCam. It seems like Google tends to do this way too often. If this is the case will they offer to replace like the did with my DropCam. I am considering moving to another brand for the additional cameras I need unless those options to replace or to no drop at all. I have using 2 apps but if I'm gonna be forced to do so I can just move to a different brand that doesn't do this.

Hello, I'm an end user like you. Here are some thoughts. Google has not announced if and when the IQ cams will able to move to the Google Home app. But for me it doesn't matter because I really like the Nest app over the Google Home app. I will continue to purchase used Gen 1 NEST cams from Ebay until such time that the Nest App no longer works.
I have purchased a few other brands so I could try them out as a possible replacement for the Nest cams. But they all have their pros and cons. One of the biggest cons is when it comes to viewing the live and recorded events from your computer browser. Nest is still far better in this area using HOME.NEST.COM than other companies.
There are lot of review videos on youtube that can help you shop around. For me the best choices are from EUFY and REOLINK because they offer a BASE STATION unit that lives in your house and it records and saves all the footage and you don't have a monthly subscription fee.
Good luck with your search and if you find anything you like more than NEST please return here and post your findings.
