The wall plate for the power adaptor wasn’t separated from the magnet. How do I get the magnet out? I’m unable to wedge a screw driver between the side and the magnet and I’ve also tried to use a screw driver to pull on one if the four tab slots in the inner square, but it just starts damaging the plastic.

It's been over a year since I last installed our last Google Nest Outdoor Camera, but there is no magnet involved in the power adapter connector; that's just for the camera itself. For the power adapter, the directions say you press the collar all the way in and twist it clockwise to lock it when installing, so it seems you should be able to twist it counterclockwise to remove it:
Hope that helps a little.

Thanks! I received this from a friend and I think I’m missing the adaptor plate! I’ll have to ask him about it. I thought there must be a magnet that went there like there was for the camera itself. I guess not
