Hey there.
I've recently bought and installed a Wasserstein solar panel to attach to a Nest Outdoor (battery) camera.
The install went fine and the device recognised the panel and everything seems fine.
I use home.google.com on an old laptop to have all my cameras showing their feeds (2 x indoor-wired and 2 x outdoor-wired plus the new battery/solar one)
My issue is that the feed automatically switches from 'Live' mode to 'Idle' mode after 5 minutes and I have to keep clicking on the 'Live Video' button to switch the feed back on.
Is there an option somewhere to turn on and off 'Live mode' please?
Thanks

Google Nest does not specifically document this, but when running on solar power, the battery camera is not capable of being "Live" at all times because it is actually still running on battery power. (We have a battery camera plugged in with the optional power cable, and it is "Live" at all times.)
On the page below, Google Nest says this:
"If you’ve connected your Nest Cam (battery) to the Wasserstein Solar Panel, the panel doesn’t directly power the camera. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the panel, and the camera runs off the battery charge."
