Hello everyone. I have a Nest Cam Outdoor, I can't connect to WiFi. One day, after changing the address in the Nest app, the camera disconnected and no longer wants to connect.
What I did:
1. Deleted from the app
2. Disconnected for 10 seconds
3. Created another WiFi network
4. Created another home
5. Tried different phones with the Nest app
6. Tried connecting to friends
Nothing helps
When adding the camera, it hangs on connecting to WiFi

Do you mean you changed the physical address of your location? Did you move? For testing how about changing it back and see if the cameras re-connect?

No. I'm from Ukraine, but at first, when I registered in the Nest app, I accidentally indicated that I was from the USA. When I saw that, I just changed it to Ukraine and that's it, everything disconnected, there is no longer any possibility to connect to the camera
I tried to restore everything to how it was, but it doesn't work anymore

To change Wi-Fi networks with the 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera, you have to do one of two things while you are still on the old Wi-Fi network and can communicate with the camera:
1) In the Google Nest app, go to Settings | Home info | Home Wi-Fi help, select the camera, tap Start and then Update settings.
2) Remove the camera from the Google Nest app; this performs a factory reset, since the 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Cameras do NOT have a factory reset button.
That's why Google Nest's first recommendation is to set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values used on your old router/modem. That's what we did a couple of years ago, and we did not have to update any of our Google Nest devices.

If you can't that, you may need to wait up to 60 days until the Nest Aware subscription period on the camera expires, and then reinstall:

Hi. I tried both the old network and the new one. The camera has been missing from the Nest app for a long time, it won't connect

Hi ddzpp,
Thanks for posting in the community! I understand your Nest Cam Outdoor disconnected after you changed your country setting from the USA to Ukraine in the Nest app, and now the camera won't complete the Wi-Fi connection step when you try to add it back. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you've already done, and I'd be glad to help!
To find the best solution, I have some questions for you:
Hey @mdr2, @MplsCustomer I appreciate your input.
Please keep me in the loop.
Regards,
Juan

- The indicator is blinking blue, like the connection stage
- Yes, these are mostly codes related to the problem of Bluetooth or WiFi on the camera
- Nest app version 5.84.0.4
