Nest Cam Stand

I have three Nest Cams mounted in different spots inside the house, but I now want to be able to move them to other places. Will the Nest Cam Stand let me do this?

Thanks!

I'm just another Google Nest customer.

The "Nest Cam Stand" (https://store.google.com/product/nest_cam_stand) seems to be designed to work only with the 2nd gen Google Nest Battery Camera. We've had one of those cameras since Sept. 2021, plugged in outside with the optional power cable.

If you have battery cameras and purchase the Nest Cam Stand, you might have to delete your cameras from the Google Home app, do a factory reset, and then reinstall them. Judging from other posts in this forum, it seems that there is no other way to get the battery camera to recognize that it is now plugged in.  (There is no clear documentation on this.)

THANK YOU!!  I finally realized that my Google Nest base is just a magnet Any magnet!  I ordered 3 round magnets with dimples and can now use my battery cameras anywhere I would like.  I don't know why I couldn't see this in the Google Nest documentation - but it's a very inexpensive solution.
