Nest Camera Audio While Phone Locked

Hello,  

Putting it out there as a feature request or as a question if people have found workarounds. 

Simply put, I want to be able to hear the nest camera audio regardless if app is open or phone is locked or unlocked. This could be a setting that you turn on or off based on your needs.  In my case, I'd like to walk around with my phone playing the nest camera audio to my baby's room.   Are there cheap $40 devices that let you do this? Yes.  However, surprisingly few devices do both video and audio for multiple cameras in same app. And why should I have to buy those if I already own nest cameras?  I'd prefer to buy a nest product that I already use across my Google/Nest household ecosystem and this seems like a reasonably easy feature/permission to add.

It's true that you can't monitor the audio of your Nest cameras all the time. While the app wasn't designed with your need in mind, it's certainly a great idea that could provide a lot of versatility to the cameras.

Because of that, I would suggest filling out this feedback form This form is reviewed directly by our development team, and your idea can be directly forwarded to them for possible future implementation.
