Can i simply use a power adapter plug - per my existing security cam and wire my Nest Cam and Floodlight to that?

We have the Google Nest battery camera, plugged in with the optional power cable. The camera that's part of the Google Nest Floodlight fixture is the same camera, but in the floodlight fixture the power cable for the camera is connected to the rest of the floodlight fixture, which in turn is connected to a standard household circuit.
I suppose you could run the same power cable we use to the camera that is part of the floodlight fixture, but that wouldn't power the floodlights and associated circuitry that is part of the fixture. And I suspect you wouldn't want to try to rewire the fixture to run the floodlights through the kind of power adapter that is part of the optional power cable that powers just our battery camera.
