I am using a Google Nest Camera (battery), a Wasserstein PoE adapter, and a PoE+ switch (TP-Link - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076HZFY3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1). When I plug the adapter in to the switch (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C88VDV9S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1cable adapter)... it appears to be working fine but every 3 or 4 days the battery died and camera goes offline until the battery is charged up again. It looks like the power going to the camera is too low. What are the minimum power requirements for the Nest Cam? voltage, apms, etc?
I bought the Wasserstein PoE Adapter for Google Nest Cam and I see the similar problem that suggest I have a power issue. When I plug the adapter in to the camera the camera turns off and becomes unreachable via the Google Home app. In addition, the green and amber lights on the adapter both rapidly flash, which strikes me as there being a power problem of some sort (but that's a guess).
Does anyone have Nest Cam running with PoE without any issues? Please describe your configuration... Thank you!

Hello, wow,, I commend you on coming up with that really cool way to get power to the cameras. It sounds like it should work but I'm not sure why it isn't. All I can think of is the POE isn't quite enough power (mostly like not enough amps). Is there a way you can run a long power cord to the camera just a test for a week and see if it keeps working that way?
So has this been working for a long time and it is just now failing? The reason I ask is these cameras have a known probably where the batteries do not charge in cold weather. Check out this article and see if it sounds like it might apply to your situtation.
