Nest Cam indoor/wired/2nd gen not showing in Nest app & can't get video history

I have a new Nest Cam indoor/wired/2nd gen that I have hooked up - and I see it in my Google HOME app. I would like video history for this camera but don't see if/how to do it in Google HOME. I also have a Nest Pro camera that I see in both Google HOME & NEST apps, and I can video history for this in my NEST app. I just updated my NEST app to NEST AWARE. 

How do I get my new Nest Cam 2nd gen to show in the NEST app? OR how do I get video history for this from the Google HOME app?

The newer 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 get installed in the Google Home app and can be viewed on the home.google.com website, but CANNOT be accessed in the Google Nest app or accessed on the home.nest.com website.

1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Nest app can also now be accessed in the Google Home app, though not with full functionality, and can be live-streamed on the home.google.com website.

A Nest Aware subscription applies to all Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure". History for 1st gen cameras and doorbells is viewed in the Google Nest app and on the home.nest.com website, and event history can also be found be viewed in the Google Home app. History for 2nd gen cameras and doorbells is viewed only in the Google Home app.

how confusing - I now see the video history for my Nest Cam in the Google HOME app - but it appears I have to use the NEST app to view the video history of my Nest Pro - wouldn't it be wonderful if all these devices could be viewed in the same place? Yeah - maybe Santa will bring that 😁

I'm not sure what camera you mean by "Nest Pro", but yes, it is confusing.

You can try out moving your 1st gen Google Nest indoor cameras and your 1st gen Google Nest outdoor cameras to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, but you will lose the Nest app functions listed below: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Nest-Cam-Outdoor-1st-gen-expanded-support-rolling-out-in.... You cannot (yet?) try out moving the 1st gen Nest Hello Doorbells or the Google Nest IQ Cameras to the Google Home app.

We've been using 2 apps ever since getting a battery camera in Sept. 2021.  We may be using both for quite awhile.
