Nest Cam schedule on/off with routine or scripts

How can I automate turning on/off my Nest cameras at specific times.  It seems that I can only automate when I switch between home or away but this is seriously lacking.  There are routines such as Bedtime and Good Morning that can be triggered on a specific time but there is no action available to turn on/off the camera.  There is an option to turn on/off the light but not camera.  It seems like such an easy feature to add so I am wondering when this feature will be available.  I see other people asking for this such as the following thread.  So please add useful functionality to the product.

Unfortunately, the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app (or on the home.nest.com website), where there is a "Scheduling" option.

I understand that the cameras work with the Google Home App.  This is where I am looking for Google to add the functionality.  If I can turn on/off the camera with the Home/Away routines, it certaily should be possible to have them turned on/off with the Bedtime/Morning routines.  This way it could be scheduled at specific times of day.  It seems like the framework is there, it should not be that hard for the Google developers to add this functionality and it seems like people are asking for it.  I see so many complaints that the Google Home App is lacking this functionality.
