Nest Cam with floodlight won't connect

Hi- so I had this same issue when I first set up my camera but I don't remember what the fix is. I just got new wifi and I'm trying to set it back up. It just sits there in the home app trying to connect and then it tells me to make sure the camera is on the same wifi as my phone. It's obviously not, that's what I'm trying to do. I removed the camera from the home app and powered the camera off and back and and tried connecting it again. I just got the same error. It's also just on the other side of the wall from my router so its definately close enough. Any help would be great all of my other devices have already reconnected with out issue

The short answer is to give your new router the exact same WIFI name and password as the old one.  That way all your devices will reconnect right away.   Getting a Nest Camera to see a new WIFI involves a lot of steps and is very time consuming.  In a number of cases you will see people here on this forum report they never get their cameras back up and running.  Then they have to call Nest Tech support for help which is also time consuming.
