Nest Cam

After buying a new phone, my 2nd generation Nest Cam doesn’t appear in my Nest app. I cannot reactivate it as there is no QR code, no code on bottom of camera and no Ethernet port. Is there another way to reactivate the camera?

As we discovered when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) a year ago, the newer Google Nest cameras and batteries appear ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.

If you are logging into the Google Home app with the same Google (gmail) account and password you used on your old phone, you should see your camera.

By the way, the QR Code was on the QR Code sticker on the front of your camera, as shown at about 0:50 in the video below. If you've misplaced the QR Code, you can use the 6-character Setup Code on the base of the camera, as shown at about 1:00 in the video:
