Nest Camera Battery Stopped Charging

My camera is on and I am trying to charge it with the cable. For some reason it will not charge beyond 52 percent after trying for a 12 hour period. What's wrong? What should I try? Thanks.

@Flyer

Is your charging cord plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera and is the plug fully seated? Is the LED status light pulsing white, indicating it's charging? https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073?hl=en#zippy=%2Cgoogle-nest-cam-battery

I've seen other reports where either the battery camera or the charging cord was defective. You could try contacting Google Nest here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) plugged in with the optional power cable and it always stays charged, so yours SHOULD charge; Google Nest says it should take 5 hours to fully charge the battery (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11052520?hl=en).
