Hello, I have 7 cameras and a Nest Doorbell, all hard wired and Nest Aware for 24 Hr recording.
Only 1 Camera has any issues and this is capturing approx 8-15 "people" seen when there is in fact no one there.
I'm really puzzled as what to do next.

Hello there,
Understood — thanks for the heads up! Let’s further check this. Could you check if there’s an overlapping Activity Zone and turn off all notifications for the camera in question. Then, turn on only the person notification.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
JT

Hi Evobury,
Thanks for letting us know. No worries, we’ll sort this out — a few questions: were there any changes to your Wi-Fi network? What’s the make and model of your phone? Also, have you created Activity Zones for the camera in question? If so, are Alerts enabled for the Activity Zones?
There are a few things that can trigger unwanted alerts or false positives, here are common triggers to name a few:

Hello there,
Got it — glad to know that. While Nest strives to send customers notifications only when the camera senses important activity, false positives may occur as a natural outcome of using algorithms to process video. These algorithms learn and improve over time, limiting the number of notifications you’ll receive.
Thanks,
JT
