Does anyone know whether the Google theft policy where they replace the camera if stolen covers if you purchase new from a retailer other than Google that sells Google products?

Yes I’ve seen that but it’s not entirely clear whether it has to be purchased from the Google store or it can be purchased through another retailer, obviously Google are not the only ones that sell Google products

Hi folks,
This replacement policy in case of theft is available in all countries which is limited to Nest Doorbell (battery) and Nest Camera (battery). This policy doesn’t apply to other Google Nest products.

Ok, so are you saying the Nest Doorbell (battery) is covered if purchased from a retailer other than Google?
