Nest Camera and doorbell

Just recently installed the nest cam, bought battery. Purchased cable to have it wired outdoors. Can't seem to have both doorbell and camera on my nest app. Got my doorbell on nest app and having to look at camera via Google home app. Surely they can both be on 1 app? Can anyone help please?

Unfortunately, you are stuck with using 2 apps. We've been using 2 apps ever since we bought a battery camera in Sept. 2921.

There is a "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, and if you install that, you can then "transfer" your 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell from the Google Nest app to the Google Home app, but it's been in "Public Preview" status since November 2022, and still lacks much Nest app functionality. So we are not using the "Public Preview" version.

Thanks, wish I'd known this before purchasing. Slightly annoying isn't it.

Thanks for your reply 👍
