It could be a lot of things, and it depends on your camera and its settings.  Maybe this will help:

Hello everyone,

 

@Jansale47 I know how important this is for you. Let's check our options here. To confirm, is the Airplane or Do Not Disturb mode turned off or on? Is this issue constant or intermittent?
 

Give these steps a try:

  • Try turning off and on the notification from your Google Home app or Nest App.
  • Toggle on the notification of your app from your phone settings.
  • Try using a different mobile device and check if you can receive a notification.
