Nest Camera still offline after Comcast work in area all day.

Comcast worked in area all day; no internet until 5PM. TV, landline, devices all connected now. Nest camera still says offline. How do I (75 year old woman) get it back online?

thanks for asking. My neighbor came over & showed me how to pull the camera off its magnetic mount. He pushed the reset button, I recharged the battery, & just like that it was lights, camera, action!

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

no I have to wait 2 weeks for the Geek guy to come out . I can barely reach to the top of my nest camera & can’t feel anything like a restart button. The unit is jammed against the soffit & I can’t go up on a ladder. I’ll just wait for my appointment, it’s no charge anyway because it’s under warranty & I have a Geek Squad contract. Thanks for trying.
