DO NOT BUY!!!..as with everyone else's complaints on here the camera does not preform basic function. Cannot get live video as it says "unavailable. The camera may be unreachable or saving battery." I am an electrician by trade so dont ask if its installed correctly. I have three other Nest cameras from before google bought them out, Nest IQ cameras and they all work perfectly (including the software). I have a nest video doorbell and that works perfectly. I have a google wifi mesh system. I have a mesh point less than 20 feet from the camera located 9 feet high on the same wall as the camera with only the garage door between the two. I have reset the camera, removed and reinstalled the camera on my phone, tested my mesh system, my wifi speed and everyother BS excuse they come up with...bottom line is the cameras and software suck. Nest was much better off before google took them over. Rant over

Same issue. Thus is freaking horrible. Same mesh network, same Nest setup. Just got warm enough for me to hook up light and the software cannot locate. What?!?!?This is Google and I am saying Nest is/was a better company. I actually have Ring at my other location and no problems with any devices. AND they actually have customer service to walk you through any problems. The Home App is horrible amd I am stuck with a light that is just a light....c'mon!!!!! On hold trying to talk with someone.......45 minutes and counting!!!!
