Nest Doorbell 2nd Gen Chime Constantly Ringing

I believe i have a defective chime puck. The second i attach the chime puck to my chime box my doorbell will not stop ringing. I have tried multiple combinations and wiring situations with no luck. I even bought a new transformer thinking that was it but i have had zero luck figuring it out.

 Am having this same problem. It's been on charge for 3 days and only at 50% no lights are coming in when plugged in

Is your chime puck wired correctly as shown here?

It's not a wired door bell,

it is a wired doorbell. It gets wired to my chime box. Its not the battery one

@Mrsc

This thread is about a problem with the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell (wired), where the chime won't stop ringing.

You said you were having the same problem, but apparently you have an entirely different problem with the Google Nest Battery Doorbell not charging. We don't have the battery doorbell, but it seems a number of customers are reporting the same thing. I don't know why, but it seems odd that Google Nest's store says you're supposed to charge the doorbell with a compatible 7.5W AC charger that is "sold separately", except that Google Nest does NOT sell it.

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry to hear about the situation, and thanks for reaching out to us.

Miswiring the chime during installation is the most likely reason for continuous ringing. Complex chimes with three or more wires typically experience this problem. Sometimes the intercoms, swinging gates, and other equipment are also connected to these chimes. For assistance with advanced installation, get in touch with a local HVAC professional.

I appreciate your help, @MplsCustomer
