I used to have the 1st Gen Wired Nest Doorbell and while using the Nest app there would be a doorbell ring on my iPhone anytime someone would ring the doorbell. Now that I upgraded it to the 2nd Gen wired I can’t get it to ring on my iPhone through the Google Home app. I get the notifications on my iPhone and the indoor chime rings too but one of the main reasons for having a smart doorbell is to be able to see who’s ringing the doorbell when I’m not home and talk if necessary. The notifications are useless, they get drowned in all the other notifications.

We've had Google Nest Hello Doorbells for 4 years and have never had any ability for any of the doorbells to produce a "doorbell ring" sound on our iPhones (although many customers in this forum have asked for such a capability). The only option we have are standard iOS notifications. We do get "visitor announcements" on our Nest Hubs.
