My Nest Doorbell (Battery) is discharging rapidly even while wired. I will charge the doorbell all the way to 100% and wire it to my doorbell hookup, which I tested and provides 18.3-18.4 V.
Initially, after set up and then for a day or two, the app will read fully charged along with the infinity symbol but then right around day 3 or 4, the battery will drop to below 65% and estimate about 3 days of battery and then keep discharging.
On average there are about 5 or so events a day - mostly just leaving and coming back to the house. I understand that even while wired, the doorbell might not charge enough but this does not seem right. While fully charged and wired, it's not even lasting the predicted 1 month for a busy area (25-30 events a day)
