Nest Doorbell (Battery! Issue

New here, be gentle

 

so we have several products, thermostat, floodlight cam, wireless outdoor cam and battery doorbell. All weree working great until a few days ago the doorbell which we charge every couple of weeks started saying offline, we found this strange as it had only been charged a few days prior. It had been raining and when I took the doorbell off it was wet at the back, I dried in by wiping it down and once I thought it was ok I plugged in in, the doorbell bleeped the white light appeared and I left it overnight, next day I put it back and it still said offline, I’ve taken it off and plugged it back in but now there is nothing, no bleep, no light, absolutely nothing, nothing happens whilst trying to reset it or even factory reset. 

Can anyone shed any light on this, it’s our second doorbell as there was some fault on our first one and this was sent out as a replacement. Is there a customer service number I can call? I remember talking with someone a while back and once all product details were confirmed I was sent out a new one, I cannot find that numbrt now.
