Nest Doorbell (Battery) Won’t stay On

I’m having an issue where my Nest Doorbell isn’t showing it’s status or just turns off. It won’t blink a color or light. Once I plug it in, it turns on, works perfectly fine, and shows light status but once i remove the USB-C, it turns off within 3 seconds and no longer responds. I’ve tried Reseting and Factory Reseting but that didn’t change anything. I just got this Doorbell today and Brand New so I expected no issues from the Doorbell it’s self

@Fendi3ddy

We have the older Nest Hello Doorbells and not the battery doorbell, but did you charge your doorbell first, until you got a solid white light?

Hi folks,

@Fendi3ddy, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. It could be that its battery is too drained. Typically, It takes approximately five hours to fully charge the battery using a compatible 7.5W AC adapter (sold separately). The battery won't charge at temperatures below 32°F (0°C), and will only charge slowly at temperatures close to freezing.

I appreciate your response, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
