Hello,
I apologize for the long story. My Nest doorbell has been functioning fine for the almost 2 years I've had it. Yesterday I went to charge the doorbell since it was a little low on battery. It made the usual audible sound when connected to a power source. After a few hours I looked at the Google Home app to see how much it had charged and saw that it was offline. I went to the doorbell itself and pressed the doorbell button, which usually gives you the percentage it is charged, and got nothing. I unplugged and replugged the doorbell and no longer heard any indication it was charging. I tried a different charger and still got nothing and the doorbell remained offline. I tried remounting the doorbell to see if it would at least power on and it did not. I then tried resetting the doorbell to factory conditions and got no reaction from it. The doorbell is essentially a brick right now. Has anyone experienced something like this?
Thanks,
Jay

I've seen other posts like yours in this forum, where the battery doorbell quit working and could not be factory reset. You could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
