Nest Doorbell Battery setup - Unable to create nest network

IRTFM

After spending two days trying to get Wifi Pro to work in mesh and failing, I gave up and settled for one node and went to work on my doorbell. Ladida. Can't even get started.

Before I delete my gmail and give up everything google I thought I'd give the community a try.

Connect USB - Blue pulse - Add device - Scan QR - Create Nest Network - Something went wrong, please try again - infinite loop

I've tried factory reset and turning off ipv6

Appreciate you

Hi IRTFM,

Thanks for letting us know what steps you've tried to get the setup to work so far. I have a few questions that might help us move forward.

  • What device are you using for setup? Is it an Android or iOS device?
  • Do you have access to a separate device you can try, such as another cell phone or tablet?
  • During setup, do you have Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device?

If you can give me that info, I can suggest next steps for us on this.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi, Jeff

Managed to get it working using a Huawei instead of my OnePlus.

Hey IRTFM,

That's great news and I appreciate the follow up. I'm happy to hear you're all set up and working. Before I mark this as resolved, is there anything else I can do for you?

Thanks,
Jeff
