I installed my Nest Doorbell Battery straight to the power.
When accessing the APP informs with the "symbol of infinity" and a socket.
I understand that you identified that it is directly connected to the energy, but after a week of use, a recharge is requested.
What can it be?
Thanks for reaching out and I understand your concern about the charge of your Nest doorbell battery. If you've connected your Nest Doorbell (battery) to your existing doorbell wiring, the wires don't directly power the doorbell. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the power that comes through the wires, and the doorbell runs off the battery charge. At temperatures between -20 °C (-4 °F) and 0 °C (32 °F), the doorbell can continue to work, but the battery will drain because it can't be charged. If the battery drains completely, the doorbell will shut down, and you'll need to bring it inside to be charged. Hit this link for more information.
