I’m having an issue where only one of the solenoids in my chime moves when the doorbell is pressed. Instead of getting a ding-dong, I just get a ding. I noticed this right after I installed the puck and I tested the old doorbell, when I removed the puck everything worked fine again.
My transformer is 16V 10VA, the minimum recommended. Everything else seems to be working fine. Is it possible there isn’t enough voltage/power to power the chime? Should I upgrade the transformer to 16V 30VA or 24V?

I've seen numerous posts in this forum where customers upgraded their transformer from 16V 10VA to 16V 30VA to get their 2nd Gen Google Nests Doorbells to function with their chimes. When we got our 2nd Google Nest Hello Doorbell a few years ago, we also upgraded to a 16V 30VA transformer. I think Google Nest needs to revisit their minimum requirements.
