Nest Doorbell Cracked

I wanted to let everyone know that Google doesn’t follow up well with issues. My Google Nest Hello doorbell camera is cracked without any exposure to direct sunlight or rain. I’ve posted before and someone from Google reaches out and says they will work with me. However, when supplying them with all the information, no response. Very disappointed in Google’s customer service with a premier product and service.

How old is it? Did you just install it? I know this is a dumb question, but you did remover the plastic film that covers and protects it during installation right?

If just been on to google about my nest doorbell is cracking and peeling they told me it’s out of warranty which is not true under sale of goods act that give you 6 years but in their reply they advise me to take my doorbell out of sun light and rain which makes it useless because it’s a door bell on my door has any one heard of this problem

John I would really like to speak with you also about my situation. As Shaun says, you guys advise about taking the doorbell out of sun and rain?  Mine isn’t exposed to that and I still have the same cracking. Seems to me that the doorbell isn’t made well. For the price we all pay for Nest quality, I know I expected better.

Hi.  I have the same problem with mine - under a covered porch with no rain or sun on it.  It looka very similar to yours.IMG_6675.jpg

Same peeling problem with my unit.
