Nest Doorbell Installation on m&s DMC1 intercom

My home that I recently purchased has a m&s DMC1 intercom system.  The doorbell chime is currently running through this system.  The doorbell is connected into the master control panel in the kitchen.

I am wondering when installing my google nest doorbell if I can simple connect the chime connector up to the intercom system?  Has anyone come across this?  It seems to be as simple as connecting a regular chime up but I was hoping to get some feedback before I attempt it

Any luck? I wanted to attempt the same wiring, except I purchased the Wired doorbell.
