I have had a Nest Doorbell camera for almost a year, we added an indoor camera early this summer and things worked perfectly with the Nest app (iOS). We recently purchased a Nest Outdoor Camera (Battery). Come to find out our new camera is not compatible with the Nest app, but works with the Google Home app, which is fine, but I cannot figure out how to get notifications from the indoor camera and the doorbell camera on the Google Home app. Notifications from the new outdoor camera work fine. Anyone have any solutions besides replacing the two cameras that are less than one year old? Everything else seems to work fine, the indoor camera shuts off automatically when we get home. A little frustrating that 1 year old technology is already outdated. I thought the Nest app was more user friendly than Google Home.

Yes,,, well, SURPRISE!!!! The new cameras ONLY work with the crappy GOOGLE HOME app and the old cams pretty much only work with the NEST app. And to make matters worse you can not see the new cameras from your Computer's browser. If you read thru these forum entries you will see many many people were caught off guard and have returned the new cameras because the GOOGLE HOME app lacks so many features that the NEST app has.
I ended up returning my new cams after this discovery. It is so disappointing.
