Nest Doorbell Wired 2nd Generation: still not available in Europe???

My only question is: WHY? I've been waiting for months, and been postponing the purchase of a video doorbell just because I was hoping that this 2nd Gen. Nest Doorbell would be finally launched here in Europe. Today is March 1st, still nothing. I'm tired of waiting, Google, so I decided to buy another doorbell from some of the competitors...really disappointed about this!

I totally agree with you. The oddest thing is since the release of the "new" Google Home they ignored the Nest app. So the problems keep pilling up. I have so many problem on my Nest Doorbell that i contact them each 2 - 3 days. I think i should switch to the newest doorbell when it launches in Europe.

@markllo  Gosh... where should i start. I guess from the top 
Couple of months ago i was experiencing some odd issue with my previous doorbell. So basically when someone rang on it it was shutting off. I've contacted the Google Tech support so they were kind enough to send me a replacement, because mine is still under warranty. ( It was an hardware issue with my old doorbell ).
Fast forward now since lets say a month i am experiencing an very annoying issue. Basically when someone rings on the bell i get a notification on my phone, than i click on it but i get a black screen with the action buttons beneath. I close all my apps and re-open the Nest app but i get a message " Something went wrong. Camera is not available at the moment." . And after 5 minutes or so i can re-open the Nest app and check the live feed and the courier that i have missed. It is getting really frustrating , because you invest a bunch of cash for the device and subscription and than you cannot use it as for it's main purpose.

Whats so hard about sharing an ETA... Right now we dont even know íf its ever going to be available, let alone when.
