I would like to receive a notification on my phone and on my wife's phone at the same time when somebody rings the doorbell. Unfortunately only my phone gets a notification and my wife's phone (and also my ipad) doesn't.
I installed the nest app on all ios devices and enabled notifications. The phones are in the same wifi and have good connection. Any idea how to get notifications working on all devices?

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Google Nest app on the uncooperative devices?
Is your wife a member of your Google Nest "home/structure" and is she logging onto the Google Nest app with her own Nest or Google Account?

Thanks for the reply. Now it works. I am not exactly sure what did the trick but I guess it was just turning the notifications off an on again both in the iOS settings and in the nest app. But what is still a bit frustrating is the notification delay. I am using a nest mini as chime and I also want the phones to get a notification. After pressing the doorbell button it takes about 5 seconds for the nest mini and 10-15 seconds for the phones to react. Any recommendations how I can improve this delay?

It usually takes just a few seconds for us to get visitor announcements on our Nest Hubs and Nest Mini, and to get doorbell ring notifications on our phones. Sometimes it takes longer, but it's usually quite prompt.
If it occasionally takes longer, I'd suspect a temporary issue on Google Nest's servers. (Our people and motion notifications on our phones sometimes take longer.) If it consistently takes longer, I'd suspect Wi-Fi issues, but I'm no expert.

WiFi issues I can exclude, I have a very robust system from Ubiquiti with good signal strength and absolutely no issues with many other devices. Before I had a ring doorbell that I returned because of other issues but with ring the delay was significantly lower. I read somwhere that the delay with the gen2 wired doorbell is lower so I consider upgrading. Can anyone confirm this here? Actually I like the design of gen1 better as it is a bit smaller but I would upgrade if the delay issue would be solved.

Two questions remain:
