Hi All,
Ive been searching for some answers and it seems like everyones situation is different and I can't solve mine. I got a Nest Doorbell back around Christmas and it installed easily, my voltages were correct, and it has been working flawlessly since. We have Google speakers in every room so we have been using the announce on those to know when someones at the door. I installed the doorbell and added the Chime connector and the mechanical chime will not work no matter what setting I change. I made sure that the indoor chime setting was on and tried changing it to electronic chime, and it will not ring.
When you press the doorbell, the plunger moves very slightly and very slowly. A local doorbell technician said sometimes the Chime connector can be the problem and he suggested removing it and seeing what happens. I figured I would post here and ask before trying that.
Thanks!

One possible cause is that your doorbell transformer is not delivering enough power.
Another possibility is that you have a defective "chime puck"; there have been reports in this forum about defective chime pucks for the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell, as in this thread:

Hello everyone,
@johnpernock thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing with us what you've done. If possible, could you share with us the power of your transformer? If it doesn't provide enough power you might want to upgrade it. Hit this link for more information.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Regards,
Emerson
