NEST DOORBELL (WIRED)
Purchased Nest Doorbell in Sydney Australia in March 2022, and had it professionally wired to 24VAC transformer on the primary 240V supply.
The doorbell only occasionally registers INFINITY wired mode and will then revert to BATTERY mode. The battery NEVER seems to be charged by the wired setup and drains (quite quickly) over 5-10 days. I therefore have to remove the doorbell and charge the battery via USB each time, as if the wired setup was never there.
Who can I speak to in Sydney to check the installation instructions and perhaps ask for warranty replacement?
Appreciate your Help

If I leave my wired doorbell in battery saver mode the battery will not drain. But any other setting seems to drain the battery faster than it can be charged.

I have the same problem, battery never stays charged when wired. Seems like after google purchased nest their products just went right down the toilet.

Google sent me an email asking if your reply solved my problem. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
How do you get help for these products?

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. I cannot help you with this, but fill out the form found here for Support. They will reach out to you for assistance. I do not know how to get you to an Australia-specific agent I'm afraid.
Best Regards,
Brad.
