I have had my Nest doorbell (battery) for a year or two and as of this week, no longer mounts to the wall. The small circular locking mechanism does not click when attaching the doorbell to the mounting plate.
I have searched for ways to get it fixed or replaced online but the 'support' website is a truly awful experience with no real solution other being returned to the same support page. All of the results when I search for the issue come back with app, connectivity or playback issues.
