Nest Doorbell (wired) doesn’t appear in Nest app

The Nest Video doorbell (wired) does NOT show a feed in the Nest app and there seems to be no way to add it. I have the Google Nest Camera and Google Nest Thermostat which both show in the app but the doorbell does not. 

there also seems to be no way to watch a live feed of the doorbell in the Google Home app. Kind of annoying to switch between different apps

If you click on the "Cameras" icon on the initial screen in the Google Home app, the app displays all of your camera feeds.

Google Nest decided that the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the website.

However, you should be able to select your 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell in the Google Home app and view a live feed on the doorbell's camera; you should also be able to see a live view of your older Google Nest Camera in the Google Home app. You can also see a livestream of all of your cameras on on the beta/preview website,

I understand I can see it in the Google home app, but you have to click into the feed of each camera which is kind of annoying. The Nest app gives you a smaller thumbnail feed of what is happening. They made it so you have an extra click to view what’s happening. Google didn’t think this through for the customer point of view when they made the change.
