Nest Doorbell

I am having problems using my Google Nest doorbell (battery) with Google Nest WiFi pro. How can I fix this? Are the units incompatible? It was connected to wifi before we installed Nest wifi pro yesterday. After installation of nest wifi, it was offline. So we uninstalled it. When trying to install again via Google home, it doesn't work. It seems to "find" the google nest router instead asking if we want to install it, even if we choose doorbell and scans its QR code. The nest router is located very close to the doorbell.

Did you change your network name (SSID) or password when you installed the Google Nest WiFi Pro? If so, did you remove your doorbell from the Google Home app while you were still on your old WiFi network and then do a factory reset?

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad
