Nest Doorbell

We have a Nest doorbell and was using it and charging it very few days. We had an electrician hard wire it so we didn’t have to charge it any longer. it ia now not working and says empty battery.  We dont k iw how to fix this. any suggestions? thanks!

It sounds like you may have had your battery doorbell wired sometime after you first installed it. I wonder whether, in that case, you need to remove your doorbell from the Google Home app and do a factory reset and reinstall it in order to get it to recognize that it is now wired.  Just wondering.
