Nest Gen2 will not push motion alerts to iPhones of family members ?

I bought the nest doorbell generation two, my home is Apple HomeKit. I added the star link to my router. The doorbell is working fine on the local iPad. All the motion alerts. Anyone pushes the doorbell alerts. However, on my iPhone, I only receive alerts when the doorbell is depressed, I’ve given this two days of my life and I want them back. I’ve gone through all the obvious permissions, etc. another note as I sent a family member an invite and they did not receive it? Don’t know where to go now if I can’t receive these alerts on my phone , I have real no need for this product.

Hi there,

 

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, I would love to look into this further for you. Are you logged into the same account that is associated with your devices? Also, are you the main account holder? Only the account holder can manage their members. I also wanted to check and see if they have tried to check their email folders to make sure that the invite didn't go to junk folders or something like that. Please let me know how else I can assist you.

Yes, I meant the main account holder and I sent it to another email of mine, which I never received.

How many people have you tried to add to your home/structure? I am wondering if you're near the max number of people. The maximum number of people who can share a Nest home is 20:

  • One Owner
  • Up to nine additional people with Full Access
  • Up to 10 people with Home Entry Only

Actually, I only have three people one Erwin, to me, in an unanswered or unsent invitation to John.Actually, I only have three people one Erwin, to me, in an unanswered or unsent invitation to John.When I came to the job site this morning My iPhone started sending me alerts which is good news sort of however, I really need those alerts of course away from the house this house or jobsite.

Relieved to hear you're getting alerts now, but I am not quite understanding what you mean. Are you asking about Home and Away settings?

No, my point is even though I have Google nest set for cellular service. I do not receive any alerts when I’m away from this residence.
