Hi,
I installed the doorbell and everything works properly. The only issue I have is that the mechanical chime won’t ring when the nest chime connector is installed.
Without the connector it’s working perfectly.
Question 1: Can I run the system without the chime connector (because this way it works as it should)
Question 2: If not, what are the suggestions solving the problem. I already did all the troubleshooting here from the blog and within the app.
thank you for your support!

You could check whether your doorbell transformer is adequate:

You could also check whether the chime connector is wired correctly:

Hello everyone,
@Coralu thanks for reaching out and for sharing with us your issue. We would recommend you check the links that MplsCustomer has shared, for the required power and voltage for your transformer. If you run your system without the included chime connector, we're not sure how long it will last. Let us know if you have more questions.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Regards,
Emerson

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately i couldn't make it work. The chime works perfectly with the Nest Doorbell without the connector. I might change the the doorbell chime.
Thank you all 🙂
