Nest Hello Doorbell is Peeling

Doorbell is under a covered porch and in the shade year round and the weather is moderate in GA. Google Support said sucks to suck this is your issue since it is outside of warranty.

Asked for a partial discount or something to at least replace it with a similar item and was told to keep an eye out on the store. Replacing this item won't be with a Nest doorbell.

Ubiquiti has a doorbell and a complete camera system for a more competitive price considering they have no subscription.

I ran into the exact same issue.  We have followed all the directions on how to keep the doorbell clean without using chemicals. Its outdoors, but covered porch.  It is a real shame that a good product like this looks cheap and peeing while my neighbors have the ring doorbells installed around the same time, and still look new.  I have paid at this point for basically a new doorbell in subscription fees and got the same "its out of warranty and there is nothing I can do response".  This seems like a common issue.  I am nervous to purchase another nest doorbell so it can peel again when it goes out of warranty 😞  I have a lot of google/nest products, sucks this might change that course.
