Yesterday, after putting off the prompt for a week or so, I transferred my Nest Hello (Wired) from the nest app to the google home app. This went smoothly and after setting up notifications on my phone all seemed to work well. What has become apparent today is that my wife is now not getting any notifications despite being part of our google family and having access to the doorbell within her home app. If I go into the settings of the doorbell within her home app she has very limited options and has no option to setup notifications. Does any one know if this is a limitation of the home app? If so I think I'll just transfer it back to the Nest app.

Is your wife also on the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app?

Not that I can see. Great shout though as I think I might be. Thanks.

Since you can only "transfer" 1st gen cameras from the Google Nest app to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, I don't think she'll have access to the additional functionality in the Google Home app for "transferred" 1st gen cameras and doorbells unless she's on the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app.
We're NOT on the "Public Preview" version and have NOT transferred any of our 1st gen cameras and doorbells because so many Nest app functions are still not available in the Google Home app.
