Nest Hello Peeling after 15 months

So I bought the Nest Hello doorbell in Sept of 2020. Are we to believe that this product peels barely after a year of ownership? 

Barely after the warranty expires. Seems like planned obsolescence and google should rectify the issue.

Sad thing is I bet it was peeling while within the 1 year warranty, but I just didn’t notice until months afterwards.
