Since my Nest doorbell has transferred over to Google Home, I've noticed that every time a person is seen or rings the bell, the preview screenshot I get in my notifications doesn't actually show the person, it's only if I go into the app and look at the history that I can see who it was.
Previously it showed me who it was in the screenshot notification.. It's like there's now a delay which means it's missing the person? Example shown, someone had rung the bell when I was out but doesn't show me them
Does this make sense?
Does anyone else have this? And any idea of a fix Thanks

Hello, I'm not sure but I know google is slow to move a lot of the older nest features to the newer Google App. You may want to consider moving the HELLO back to the nest app. It is pretty easy to do. At least until Google fixes that issue.

Thank you I didn't know it was an option to be able to move back to the nest app
I'll give it a go
This is a feature I was using a lot so would be good to have it working

In case you need it this is how you transfer it back to the Nest App. Go into the Google Home app and view the video from the doorbell. Click on the 3-horizontal lines in the lower right corner and scroll down and select "TRANSFER TO THE NEST APP"

thanks.. Doesn't seem like that's an option for me

Oops,, I'm so sorry, I gave you the wrong instruction. Once you are viewing the live image from the camera you click on the 3-dots IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER and select SETTINGS. The next screen should show the TRANSFER TO THE NEST APP button ( see picture)

Thank you, I have found it now
Before I do it, do you know what this is referring to below? Are there any disadvantages to moving it back? Thank you
"If you transfer a camera back to Nest, the enhanced camera controller experience will no longer be available for that camera in the Home"

Hello, Wow,,, I have no idea what they are talking about. But I don't think it is anything important to the way I use the cameras. There are no disadvantages that I'm aware of to move a camera back to NEST. I have done it a number of times. As they release new features in the Google Home app I have been moving a few nest cams over to see the new features. Then I realize I still prefer the NEST app so I move them back.
