Nest Hello “problem”??

I have a 1st generation Nest Hello and it’s wired up to a mechanical chime. I’m trying to configure it where when someone rings the doorbell, they will hear the seasonal themes at the door but inside it will simply ring the chime as normal.

It seems that I can configure easily enough to have either individually but not both at the same time… What am I doing wrong?

If you have Nest Hubs or Nest Minis, you SHOULD be hearing the seasonal theme as part of the "visitor announcement":

"When you turn on a seasonal theme, a unique sound greets visitors when they ring the doorbell. If you use visitor announcements for your Google Nest or Home speaker or display, the sound plays on the doorbell and in your home."

There is no way, of course, to get a seasonal theme on a mechanical doorbell chime.  They can only produce the sound they were physically designed for.

Yeah, it’s a mechanical chime I know the themes won’t play on the chime what I was hoping to have when the bell is rang is 1. Theme played at doorbell 2. Mechanical chime indoors.

This doesn’t appear to be possible, I can only have 1 OR 2 but not both.

I don’t have a google hub.

Oh, I didn't read your original post carefully enough. If you turn on a seasonal theme, your indoor mechanical doorbell chime SHOULD still ring as normal. Do you still have the "Indoor chime" option turned on? If it's on, and it's not ringing, then that's a defect. It makes no sense to fail to ring your mechanical chime because a seasonal theme is selected.
