Hi, I have a 1st gen Nest Hello wired Doorbell that I just installed in our new house. The doorbell voltage is reading at 17 volts and there's a mechanical Nu-Tone doorbell. I installed the Hello and the doorbell chime seemed to work. But shortly after it would stop ringing the chime. I tried resetting it, turning on and off electronic chimes, etc... all the notes I could find. It's working sporadically now, which is frustrating. I have the "electronic chime" option checked for 1 second. It will ring the chime occasionally but not always. To even get it to to work at this level, I had to set the Hello to electronic chime, disconnect it from power, and reboot it. Then it (sometimes) works... but if I make any changes to the electronic chime settings, it will stop ringing it until I reset it again.
I've reconnected the original doorbell button and there's no issue with the chime ringing when that's pressed. Also I have the chime adapter installed correctly.
Any suggestions on why I am having this sporadic issue? It's very frustrating.
thanks

Many customers in this forum, including us, have upgraded from a 16V 10VA transformer to a 16V 30VA transformer to get their Google Nest Hello Doorbells or 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbells to work properly.
